Discipleship Framework

As believers we are all predestined to be like Christ: to be the kind of people that He calls disciples, those who…

  • Know God—with an unexplainable connection (Visual: Names of God). Aligned to who God is—His mission, His vision, His values—as He reveals Himself in *EVERY WORD* He has given in Scripture. __Key Tactic:__ Praying the Scriptures. The relationship is built as God talks through His Word, and we then respond to Him in prayer.
  • Live for God—with an uncommon commitment (Visual: ). Assigned to obey *EVERY WORD* from God as a daily strategy.
  • Love Others—with an unlimited compassion (Visual: 1 Cor 13). Articulating *EVERY WORD* from God to the world in a way that points others to Him ‬[_”He must increase, but I must decrease” _(‭‭John‬ ‭3:30)]. __Key Tactic:__ Agape-jitsu: “Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends” (Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‭-‬8‬ ).
  • Bear Much Fruit—with unquestionable change (Visual: Galatians 5:22–23 » “‭But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things.”

Know God (Jn 10:14), Live for God (Jn 8:31;14:15), Love Others (Jn 13:34-35), and Bear Much Fruit (Jn 15:8). That’s the “discipleship framework.”
